Reflection of Reality Community Care

Reflection of Reality was founded in 2014, Reflection of Reality is an agency of trained, skilled people who help families of and people with neurodiversity.


We Advocate, support, build relationships and give liberties back to people with neurodiversity. Providing services for children, adults, and families encourages independence, continuous growth, and support. Here at Reflection of Reality, we focus on your ability, not your disability. The namesake of the company is because we believe in humanity. Existing in harmony, we are a reflection of one another’s reality, which helps us stay grounded in the human experience that requires compassion that drives the force of the quality of service we provide.


Our intake process is unique. We believe in a healthy balanced culture. Clients and Staff both have expectations that are established upon introduction to one another.


This reassures an environment conducive for clients and staff to grow individually and collectively. Our character is a reflection of the reality of how our values matter. This allows us to reflect on what matters daily, which is treating people from where we have placed the core of our existence that executes our values of respect, dignity, love, individuality, commitment, and integrity.

Our Mission

Our mission is to promote individuals' rights to pursue their goals, hone their abilities, and strengthen their weaknesses, to promote strong community partnerships and community interaction through social activities.

Core Values

How we act when we work together and with the people we serve matters to us at Refection of Reality. Our core values serve as a guide for how we look inward, how we act outwardly, how we come together, and how we move forward. They’re at the heart of everything we do to carry out our mission and achieve our vision.

Is what I know to be true about my character and our desire for it to reflect the best version of ourselves.

Love

Love is patient, Love is kind.

Individuality

Individuality is accepted, embraced, and encouraged to reflect and encouraged for self-love and self-acceptance.

Commitment

Commitment is the ability to never give up no matter what shadow we see from the reflection of fear, but to stay committed until what we want to see is what reflects.

Integrity

Integrity is the credibility of our character that should be centered and reflected in our respect, dignity, love, and commitment toward the betterment of ourselves and all others that we encounter.

Every individual receiving services, regardless of age, complexity of condition, service type or setting in which the services are provided, can expect the following:

  • Person-centered Orientation in Planning and Service Delivery: Services that reflect the individual’s preferences, goals, and unique needs and that maximize opportunities for success.

  • Integration of Health Care Services: Comprehensive mental and physical health and dental care are necessary to maintain optimal health.

  • Coordination of Services: Assistance in coordinating services and establishing collaborations to optimize the ability to prosper in the community.

  • Personal Safety: Safety and security in home and community.

  • Individual Rights and Dignity of Risk: Support to exercise rights, make informed choices, and accept personal responsibility.

  • Community Inclusion and Socialization: Support in developing and maintaining family connections and friendships, and assistance in accessing community resources and participating in civic affairs.

  • Vocational/Educational Supports: Meaningful work, productive activity, or appropriate educational opportunities.

  • Advocacy: Training and support for advocacy in the community and the service-providing system.
